Road Trip

I am currently working on a series that will depict some of what I saw on a 1500 mile road trip out west from Minnesota and down into San Francisco California with my cousin Peggy. I expect to depict prairies, mountains and ocean in this series. Much of the work will be ready to view at my next studio show on November 13th and 14th.  If I can ever get off this computer and into the studio!

My first blog

I am attempting through this blog to share a bit of  life as a landscape oil painter. Most of my work is inspired by the many trips I take camping and backpacking the parks and wilderness areas of the United States and Canada. I am especially fond of the North Shore and Lake Superior areas of Minnesota and Canada.
